The ban on free plastic bags started in 2008, and the ban expands to facilities like restaurants and hospitals. Same things happened in Europe also, now it spreads to other plastic parts, also in shop fittings and retail in-visual merchandising display products. Client from Nordic area requires to use eco-friendly plastic to replace the tradition ones from 2019 also.
Now we Hangzhou Novaday start to get involded into the retail solutions with PLA.
PLA is a polyester produced by fermentation under controlled conditions of a carbohydrate source like corn starch or sugarcane. Its building blocks can either be lactic acid or lactide monomers. They will later be polymerized into PLA.
It also has the advantage of low energy consumption ,20-50% better than PET, but as the material contains starch and other roots from plant, it only can be injected colored items.
After several months research and test, PLA colored display items is in our range now and we believe also in the near by future, it can be used on transparent items and take a more and more important role on protecting the environment.
